COVID-19 response

2020-04-21

Dear Customers,

We hope you are well and taking good care. With the recent COVID-19 pandemic, there is much to consider. Moving forward, we will continue taking extra precautions as we monitor the situation.

In light of this, we currently plan to open our campground one month later than normal, opening June instead of May. Working together with you in following recommended safety precautions will be helpful for both us and our visitors.

So, here is a list of things to know at this point (keeping in mind this may be updated):

-we will strive to be open June of this year.

-campers will need to have a self-contained RV with their own holding tanks, water and functioning shower/toilet.

-booking availability may become more limited during this time, please check online or call for inquiries.

-at this point, tenting will not be allowed; if you are currently booked for a tent site and would still like to come with an RV, there are a few of options:

1) please give us a call and we can switch you over to an available powered RV site

(which will be $30/day plus tax instead of the $20 tenting rate); or

2) depending on space, some tent sites may be used/converted to an RV site at no

additional cost, please call for availability;

3) or, you may cancel your reservation and be fully refunded.

-note that our porta toilet bathroom facilities will be closed off and unavailable.

-campers will be required to book & check in on-line or by phone.

-please follow public health & safety measures, including frequent hand washing and social distancing guidelines, keep at least 6ft apart from other groups or people not within your party.

-if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 please make sure you are fully recovered & your booking is beyond the recommended recovery time of 10 days prior to your stay with us, and that you self-isolate for the appropriate time in your RV if you’ve traveled internationally in the last 14 days.

-campers will be responsible for their own garbage disposal.

-only registered campers are permitted (extra guest visitors will not be permitted at this point).

Thank you so much for your cooperation and patience during this time. As we work together in this current situation, we can help better prepare for a return to normal operations in the –hopefully near, future.

We look forward to seeing you (even if only at a distance this time). If you have any further questions, please call us. Take Care.

Warm Regards, Staff at Fort Heritage & Frontier RV Park   (403) 653-4883
